I am a 23+ year veteran of the television sports and
news wars. From the beginning, even in college at
Georgia Southern – where I shot, edited and
produced Weekly Football Highlight packages – my
goal was to put shows on the air. Since then, I’ve
shot, edited, produced, and written more stories than
I can count. I’ve also been lucky enough to do
logistical planning, staffing, and equipment
purchasing.
I’ve worked in 5 different television markets since
1988, and have covered stories all over the U.S. My
awards include Associated Press, Georgia
Association of Broadcasters, Society of Professional
Journalists, The National Press Photographers
Association and Emmy nominations. I’ve been lucky
enough to win awards in both shooting and
producing. In addition, I created the Sunday Sports
Show at WGCL-TV in 2005.
My goal is to be the consummate storyteller and to
bring back quality in both stories and productions. It’
s our goal here with OSG Sports Media, LLC to give
people the best of the best. We came up with the
idea to do this because of that very reason.
My wife Michelle and I currently reside in Cincinnati,
Ohio – along with Daisy the Wonder Dog. I’ve
become an avid runner along with attempting to play
golf and scuba diving. There is always something to
keep me busy.
